Janet

Janet’s Breast Cancer Assessment
and Recommended Next Steps
A preliminary care pathway based on the available pathology and imaging records, prepared to help the patient and family understand the required preparations and possible treatment direction in China.
Confirmed Findings
Pathology tissue is available for further molecular analysis.
Further HER2-directed treatment options may be evaluated.
An overall assessment should be made using the latest imaging.
What to Prepare Before Travelling to China
- Pathology wax block from the lung biopsy
- Complete pathology and immunohistochemistry reports
- Records of previous chemotherapy, targeted therapy and radiotherapy
- Latest CT, PET-CT or MRI images and reports
Please request the pathology wax block from the original hospital in advance and bring it safely to China for NGS testing.
Assessment After Arrival in China
Assess the number, location and extent of the lesions
Analyse potential gene mutations and treatment targets
Integrate imaging, pathology and genomic findings
NGS may identify potential treatment targets beyond HER2 and help guide more precise systemic therapy.
Preliminary Treatment Direction
Evaluate suitable HER2-targeted therapy or an ADC based on previous treatment and NGS findings.
Both liver and lung lesions may be assessed for precision local radiotherapy.
This is a preliminary recommendation based on an online assessment. The final treatment plan must be determined after reviewing the latest imaging, pathology, NGS results and the patient’s overall condition.
